ETEP Assignment Multimedia Presentation

March Online Assignment Creating a Multimedia Product 

Create a sample student product, a digital story, or a multimedia presentation for use in your classroom. Click HERE to see the rubric for this product.
For this Online Module, you will use Stupeflix (Links to an external site.) to create your Multimedia Presentation or Digital Story.Please refer to the video below that shows all of the things you can do with this digital tool:
Prepare:
Steps for Creating a Multimedia Project:
  1. Determine your audience!
  2. What is the "take-away" of your project?
    • To inform
    • To entertain
    • To advertise or condone
    • To instruct
  3. (Optional) Create a script, storyboard or storymap with any of the following:
  4. Gather needed media and create a folder for handy access

Create:
Be sure to include the following in your movie:
  • Title
  • Credits
  • Images
  • Text
  • Video 
  • Audio
    • Soundtrack(s)
    • Voice Over (Use Vocaroo (Links to an external site.))
      • Open Vocaroo
      • Record
      • Save as MP3 or WAV to your device
      • In Stupeflix, click on down arrow of image you want the audio to be synced and upload the audio file
      • The audio file will be shown at top of screen.  Simply drag the audio file to the image and the audio will only play for that image...or
      • You can use one audio voice over and make changes to each of your slides to match the audio. 

  1. While in Stupeflix, and after your movie has rendered, scroll down and click on YouTube in the Upload Section.
  2. Click "Connect to YouTube".
  3. Click on "Publish Your Video".
  4. The movie will have a URL once it is published.  Click on that link.
  5. Click on "Video Manager" (under the movie window).
  6. If you have more than one movie listed, find the movie you want and click on the edit down arrow.
  7. Click on Info and Settings.
  8. Under "Basic Info" you will see a dropdown that will change the movie from the default "Public" to
    "Unlisted".
  9. Save Changes.  
  10. Students should be able to follow the same process and have the movies saved to their YouTube account.
